No More DRS!!!

F1 post season testing. These are modified mule cars to test features with the 2026 regulations in Abu Dhabi last week. Hard to tell exactly which driver was in the car since they did not have their real numbers but you can probably make a decent educated guess.

They will be replacing DRS by making the cars more nimble with Active Aerodynamics, basically movable wings which create drag reduction and different grips. And to boot, with increased electrical power. Cars will also be a bit smaller and lighter overall leading to faster cars in the straights but a bit slower in the turns due to less cornering grip. Just some little educational notes.

Anyways, I was out here for a week unrelated to this but the perks of being at a hotel literally in the middle of the track, Yaaaassss island!

This post is way overdue, but here we go!

To Austin FC—thank you. To my coworkers, the players, coaches, and, of course, the fans who kept things interesting (and loud)!

Being part of this club has been a wild and unforgettable ride. I’ll miss those sideline views, the heart-stopping games, and the moments that made me question my stress levels.

But most of all, I’ll miss all you amazing hooomans who made it all worthwhile. I’ll cherish the laughs, the chaos, and the behind-the-scenes moments that were just too good to forget.

I wouldn’t trade the last couple of years for anything!

On to the next exciting chapter! 🤗
