A few findings stood out from our 2026 Security Maturity Benchmark Report, based on a survey of 501 senior security leaders across the U.S.:

🚩 95% of security leaders identify at least one emerging risk they believe is under-discussed internally

⚖️ 59% say their teams are understaffed

⚙️️ Only 31% operate a centralized, highly automated security ecosystem

💢 92% of organizations have experienced operational consequences tied to security readiness gaps

The data is clear:

Organizations that invest in maturing their security programs are better positioned to detect threats early, respond effectively, and maintain resilience under pressure.

Big impact starts with local action.

Over the past few weeks, AlertMedia HQ employees partnered with Austin Parks Foundation, Caritas of Austin, and Austin Animal Services to support our community through volunteering, sponsorship, and hands-on action. From park cleanups and supporting homelessness services to caring for shelter pets, we’re proud to give back to the city we call home.

Proud of our team for continuing to show up for Austin in meaningful ways.
