A lot of people ask me where to start, and what I’ve seen over time is that the question isn’t really what should I build, but what actually matters enough to solve. When you look at real problems—health, access, environment, systems that clearly aren’t working—you stop searching for ideas and start seeing opportunities everywhere.
There’s a different kind of energy when you’re building in response to something real. It’s not just about creating another product or entering another saturated space, it’s about meeting a need that already exists, and that changes everything about how things unfold. The path becomes clearer, the right people show up, and decisions feel more grounded because they’re anchored in something beyond just you.
It’s easy to default to what’s familiar or trendy, but the truth is, the world doesn’t need more of the same. It needs people willing to look a little deeper, to pay attention to what’s broken, and to trust that they’re just as capable as anyone else of building something that actually makes a difference.

Every year I choose a word to guide how I move through the world.
Not a resolution.
A frequency.
In 2022, my word was rapture: remembering how to feel awe again.
In 2023, wholehearted truth: no masks, no fragmentation.
In 2024, soft power: leading the way nature leads: steady, generative, alive.
In 2025, undefended trust: putting the armor down.
And now…
My word for 2026 is "Conjuring"
Not charging forward with a sword.
Not forcing outcomes.
But sitting under the tree with a wand in my hand, not to rule, but to steward.
Less force.
More resonance.
Instead of trying to do everything, I’m learning to activate what is already ready.
To align the field so things can move naturally.
I want to shape an ecosystem rooted in presence, not pressure.
