Worship Team Training

As musicians, we know that consistency matters more than perfection. Nobody becomes a better musician by practicing once in a while. Growth comes from showing up again and again, even on the days when it feels like nothing is changing.

The same is true in our walk with God. We don’t grow because of one powerful Sunday service. We grow through the quiet, daily habits of opening His Word, praying, worshiping, listening, and walking with Him.

Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Notice that Jesus didn’t tell us to visit Him occasionally. He told us to remain in Him.

Remaining is consistency. Every musician understands that practice produces growth. In the same way, every worship leader should remember that daily time with Jesus produces the kind of fruit no rehearsal ever can.
