E3 Alliance staff Priscilla Flores, Policy Analyst and Lauren Thomas, Director of Collaborative Action, presented to UTeach-Liberal Arts students taking the “Intro to Teaching Profession” course.

The dynamic duo shared regional data on student attendance and engagement trends while encouraging the UTeach students to think critically about how to use data to inform their practice.

UTeach-Liberal Arts is a professional secondary teacher preparation program for The University of Texas at Austin undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students planning to teach English (7-12), languages other than English (EC-12), social studies (7-12), or history (7-12). Its four-semester program aims to transform secondary school teacher certification from the ground up with a balanced practical and theoretical approach to teacher preparation.
