check out this cool summer opportunity for high school students in austin!

“We are excited to offer 5 high school volunteer opportunities to students at DIR this summer!

I have included the links below for each of the volunteer opportunities as well as an attached flyer for your students.

A best practice for the students who want to apply is for them to include a cover letter and resume with their application.

We will set up virtual interviews with students who are the best fit for each opportunity.

After the selection process, the students will be sent information on completing a background check.

They will also be provided a waiver for their parent/guardian to sign if they are under 18 years old.

Tomorrow- Be there!!!!

Come to campus tomorrow at 9AM for this program that helps you get a summer job at the city/ Travis county!

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must attend in person
• Must live in Travis County
• Must be 14yrs old by April ist.
• Ages 14 -17 (youth w/disabilities 14-22 are eligible)
• Must bring copy of school ID or report card to training
• Must bring copy of Social Security Card to training
• Parent/Guardian must accompany student to training
