A truck is a man's domain. Even when you haul 4 kids in the back seat. So with the words "Want a snack?" come out of your wife's mouth and all you can imagine is the mountain of chip and cracker crumbs piled on the floor and seat... a little piece of your soul shrivels up and dies.

But... then. She redeems herself!

We found an RV resort just 10 miles from the San Antonio River Walk 👀

It gave us the perfect basecamp for exploring San Antonio, The Missions, San Antonio Fiesta, and of course, The Riverwalk!

It's close enough to the River Walk, the Alamo, Fiesta, and all the city adventures… but still tucked away with a totally different feel once you’re at the resort.

What we loved:

✨ Lakefront sites + catch-and-release fishing
✨ Gated community
✨ Tropical pool + whirlpool bath
✨ Fitness center, laundry, Wi-Fi + practical travel-day amenities
(they also have propane fill station, which is super convenient)

It’s one of those places that makes RV travel feel so easy. You can explore the city all day, then come back to the pool, the lake, and your own little resort-style escape.
