Rocco and Whiskey

Look who got his smile back! We’ve been in hibernation mode over here. Rocco is pretty much back to being himself! He’s still on antibiotics for pneumonia. We go in for a check up Friday morning so hopefully he’ll be in the clear. He eats normally, takes his pills like a champ, and plays with his toys! Next item on the list is a full brush out and grooming. What a way to start 2020! Thank you for all your love and support. This was a crazy experience and I’m so glad he’s ok. We’re going to have to be a no sock household from now on 😉. But really, Rocco has eaten a part of a sock before but he passed it. I’ve been very diligent about keeping all socks and underwear out of his reach because I was worried something like this would happen. Even though I’ve always been careful...he still got a hold of a sock. So keep an eye on your pups! This happened to be a clean sock that was in my hamper. He stole it before we put our clothes away and ate it while we were running errands🤦🏼‍♀️.

In case you haven’t seen my stories, Rocco licked my face tonight!! He hasn’t done that since he’s been in the hospital 😭❤️. He also ate in front of me and even sat for treats! He’s still regurgitating some but it’s not as bad. He also had a bit of a fever earlier today so they adjusted his meds and are monitoring that. They have not removed his oxygen tube yet and they’re still anticipating he’ll be home Friday🤞🏻. I can’t wait! Such a good day. I finally feel like I can breathe ❤️🐼. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers! It’s definitely working! I finally see a glimpse of his old self, pre-sock, coming back!
