Simone also discusses the Hope Awards, a fundraiser that highlights organizations and communities who put "hope into action." This year's Hope Awards took place on April 28th. Today is the final Community Conversation with City Manager Broadnax around next year's budget. We encourage nonprofit leaders and those who support nonprofits in Austin to attend and share their support for continued funding if they haven't yet had the chance.

It was great seeing folks at the March Member Meeting yesterday. A huge thank you to Mobile Loaves & Fishes and Community First Village for hosting us at their beautiful new Goodness Hall. It was a small but mighty group to meet with on such a beautiful day. After the conclusion of our meeting, a handful of members were able to stay and take a tour of the new side of the Village, where we learned more about eligibility and opportunities for neighbors. Our next Member Meeting will take place on Zoom on April 15 - we look forward to seeing everyone!
