This year, NSBE Austin Professionals showed up in really big ways—from inspiring pre-collegiate programs and impactful general body meetings to socials that strengthened our bonds and built real community. 📣 Calling Austin Companies & Tech Leaders!

The National Society of Black Engineers – Austin Professionals (NSBE AP) is excited to invite engineering companies in the Austin area to partner with us for our annual Engineering Day! 🚀⚙️

Engineering Day is a dynamic, community-centered initiative designed to inspire the next generation of innovators, especially students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. By opening your campus and providing hands-on exposure to real engineering environments, your company can play a pivotal role in shaping future careers in STEM, technology, and engineering.

Hey ho! Enginering day is just around the corner!

This is one of our largest annual events, where young aspiring engineers are invited to travel with us to the campuses of engineering companies across Austin, Texas. Where they will interact with real professional engineers, explore the fascinating projects we work on every day, and ask their burning questions.

On February 27, 2026, you or your student can join us totally free! Mark your calendars, this event is open to all 10th - 12th-grade students in the greater Austin area.

Help us congratulate Michael Venson for winning the Presentation Award at the 2025 ABRCMS Conference in San Antonio! 🙌🏾✨

Her research presentation earned the top score in the Brain Cancer category, standing out among a multitude of brilliant future doctors from outstanding universities across the nation.

We are so proud of her dedication, brilliance, and passion for science continue to shine! 🌟🧠💛

She graduated #2 Salutatorian out of 622 students at Stony Point High School and is now at Hampton University (Class of 2027) studying Biology, Pre-Med. Her goal: to become a Neurologist helping treat disorders of the brain and nervous system.

🎉Wow another GBM already?! 🎉 Change is all around this time year, leaves change colors, the weather gets cooler, and we're slowly makign our way to the new year. Likewise, professionals need change. This GBM, we will be discussing how to master the art of change to succed in our careers.

Adaptability is the new superpower. During this GBM, we will explore how to turn challenges into stepping stones, align your goals with growth, and make the most of change in your professional path.
