The Infused Bean

For the last three years, we have started each day with coffee together.

What began with a Keurig turned into exploring coffee shops around Austin, and eventually Tom introduced cold brew into our routine.

With a small cold brew maker, we began experimenting with different beans, one batch at a time (cold brew takes a long time to steep). After working through more than 50 different coffee beans, all with chocolate tasting notes, and refining grind sizes, steep times, and concentrate levels, we landed on what is now our Signature Brew, the foundation of everything we serve.

Behind every small business are the people building it day by day. The Infused Bean has always been a labor of love, and we are excited to share that we are engaged.

What started as a love of cold brew (and the realization that coffee is almost always all or nothing when it comes to sweetness) turned into a mission to craft drinks that highlight the natural beauty of the beans.

After more than fifty beans tested and countless late-night experiments in our home kitchen, our Signature Brew was born. Steeped in cold water for 24 hours, it brings out notes of sweet berries, cacao, and a gentle smokiness in every sip.

Our recipe stays simple.

House made syrup + cold brew or chai + milk of choice = the perfect latte.

Never too sweet, always balanced, and crafted with honey, coconut sugar, maple syrup, molasses, or brown sugar to accentuate every tasting note.

We’re not only popping up around South Austin with our ATX Coffee Bike. We curate an experience.

We cater for a wide range of occasions, including:

The Infused Bean has launched in South Austin!

We had a great day at the Easton Park Farmers Market this past weekend, selling out of gallons of cold brew within the first hour and a half! We’re thrilled to be working with Move Mountains Artisan Market to bring our specialty cold brew and chai lattes to the local farmers market scene.

Come see us at the Easton Park market at Skyline Park on the first Sunday of every month, and at the Goodnight Ranch market on the second Saturday of every month.

We’ll also be live at Baythorne Park in Goodnight Ranch on non-market Saturdays through September, from 8 AM–2 PM: 8/16, 8/23, 8/30, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27.
