This chorus lyric and melody came to me as soon I first sat down with a guitar to reflect on the devastation of the fires that changed LA forever at the beginning of last year.
Once I recorded it, i knew I needed another voice in the identity of this song that was also from my hometown. I immediately called and we finished writing the rest of the song together. The vision that she brought was the missing piece that she so wonderfully brought to life.
