I used to think healing would be the moment everything finally disappeared.
The symptoms.
The fear.
The hypervigilance.
The exhaustion of trying to “fix” myself every second of every day.

But somewhere along the way, I realized healing was never meant to become my entire identity.

I survived being a sick kid.
I survived childhood abuse.
I survived Lyme disease and the years of fighting for answers while feeling trapped inside a body that wouldn’t cooperate.

And for a long time, my whole life revolved around surviving.

Tracking symptoms.
Researching protocols.
Trying to feel safe.
Trying to feel normal.

But this part of my life?
This part is different.

This part is called living.

It’s motherhood.
It’s laughing with my child.
It’s building dreams.
It’s making memories instead of constantly monitoring my body.
