When you volunteer to bring the dessert, but haven’t started yet 😬 Luckily, I have to get all of the supplies to me quick, and Holiday essentials are 30% right now! Of course I choose to make the most complicated cake last minute that I could (plus mushroom meringues) 😅

I haven’t made a patterned cake roll in a while and really wanted to try to see if I could make a plaid work. It turned out so well I’m dying to try an even more complicated plaid now!
