Mike Williams
Today I'm very excited to share a project with you that culminates years of work with clients, and a boatload of behind-the-scenes work reaching wayyy back to the pre-pandemic days.
Introducing my first online course, the "You're Working Too Hard" Mindful Movement Beginner Series!!
During 16 years+ in private practice as a Rolfer, one thing's stood out to me about the majority of my clients seeking relief from chronic pain:
Most of us are simply working too hard in our bodies and nervous systems day-to-day, keeping pain patterns alive, and never breaking the cycle of chronic pain (hence the name!).
This extra work our bodies and nervous systems are doing is often hyper-functional, helping us get through our days efficiently and effectively (that is a good thing). But without being aware of what we're doing or knowing how to hit the "off" switch on those unseen habits, we stay stuck in a self-sustaining cycle of pain.
This course is the result of a decade-plus working as a Rolfer and coach with hundreds of clients seeking to solve their chronic pain, starting way back in 2008. Contained in this 5-lesson program are the key practices I developed with my clients using Rolfing, Movement & Mindfulness that helped 80% of my clients solve the majority of their chronic pain.
At a fraction of what it costs to learn these practices with me one-on-one, this Mindful Movement course is a beginner-friendly, movement- and awareness-based toolkit you can use to solve or radically improve your pain, with small actions you can easily take everyday.
So if you've ever wondered, "how can I capture all the things Mike's taught his clients as a Rolfer for 16+ years in a tidy, DIY package??"...this is that package!
Check out the short trailer about the course in this post. And visit somamike.com/courses for details and to dive in.
I look forward to seeing you there!!
