The S**g Hags was formed in 2017 and is made up of members of the Collegiate S**g swing dance community in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. The team comprises women who have been dancing both professionally and on the amateur level and with many different years of experience between them. Many of the members of the team also teach the dance, and hold weekly lessons.

The S**g Hags have performed in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, and continue to perform throughout the Central Texas region. They have also performed in Los Angeles and hope to continue to travel.

Each member of the team has a love for Collegiate S**g and wants to promote its joyfulness and fun-loving spirit, and inspire others to try it.
