To teach Truth about immigration we need to listen to the voices directly impacted by the immigration policies.
Undocumented Stories has created an array of educational resources for children, youth and adults.
Our new offerings for children include two real life stories:
“Holy Stranger,” which tells the story of Jesus as an immigrant; and
“Doki, the immigrant dog”, which tells the story of a Venezuelan dog and his family, seeking asylum.
For youth and adults, we offer “The Truth in Our Stories” is a great resource for youth groups, small groups or book club.
We have also an online course that goes along with the book to deepen your understanding.
Come learn TRUTH with these powerful stories!

Teaching children about immigration at a young age will make them less inclined to be fearful of others and become adults who are more inclusive, welcoming and kind.
“The Holy Stranger” tells the story of Jesus as an immigrant, a story that can help us change narratives, expose lies and be loving and welcoming of our brothers and sisters.

On September 8th, 2024 at 3 pm, Ecuadorian singer-songwriter Javier Jara is teaming up with the 18-piece string orchestra, Austin Unconducted to deliver a special orchestral rendition of the Our Rhythms, Our Voices project.
For the project, Javier and his collaborators interviewed Latin American immigrants from all walks of life and created songs from those interviews using a rhythm from the person’s homeland.
The concert will take place inside the Dell Hall at the Long Center, again on September 8th, 3pm. All ages welcome.
Javier Jara has partnered several times with Undocumented Stories to lift up with his music the voices of undocumented immigrants, sharing as well the rhythms and culture of the diverse Latino community.
