A town in Quebec just changed that, passing a Declaration of the Rights of Trees. It's part of a growing "Rights of Nature" movement that says forests and rivers aren't just property to exploit.

If a paper corporation can have enforceable rights, why can't a living forest?

The National Restaurant Association found a way to make workers pay for their own poverty wages.

They bought a "food safety training" company, got states to require it, then charge workers $15 each to take it. That money funds the lobbying that keeps the tipped minimum wage at $2.13/hour — frozen since 1991.

Trump just paid a company $765 million to NOT build wind farms.

Yes, you read that right. The wind farms would've produced cheaper electricity than coal. Trump killed them anyway — and called windmills "ugly."

Meanwhile wind now beats coal as a power source nationwide. The market disagrees with him.
