Please come DIY with us! Join Planted Society and ATX Vegans for an indoor DIY holiday crafts meetup at the Howson Branch library from 2:30-4pm. Make friends, bring a snack to share and create something cute to take home!

Please RSVP if you plan on attending. We'll be there at 2p to set up tables and chairs if you'd like to help. Pro-tip: Please bring your own "forever" supplies from home if you've got em. Otherwise, there may be a queue for the scissors and glue :)

Join and for a chill meetup at The Vegan Nom Food Park this Saturday from 12-2pm. Make friends, eat great food and let's talk food + climate action!

New Event!! On Saturday, September 13th, meet us at 6:30pm at Chicano Park for a relaxed sunset walk + talk with 🦇

We will leave for our walk no later than 6:45pm, ending at Congress Avenue Bridge. The route is beginner-friendly: mostly flat and paved. We will get a chance to learn ALL ABOUT Austin's Bats on our walk and at the bridge. Come prepared with a bottle of water. (for hydration!)

According to Austin Bat Refuge, for the last six years the bats flew anywhere from 7:45pm - 8:20pm. We will be staying until they fly, but folks are welcome to head back at any time. 

The first 10 people to arrive will receive a little free prize from us :)

This is a great opportunity to connect with others who care about local conservation, sustainability, enjoy the sunset, and support a local business. All are welcome, but for the safety of the bats, we ask that everyone leave their animal friends at home.
