Texas voters are giving legislators two messages at once.

They recognize the progress made after years of transportation investment. A slight majority say they’re satisfied with roads, highways, and bridges statewide.

At the same time, nearly 70% expect transportation and traffic to get worse over the next ten years if Texas falls behind.

88% of voters believe maintaining roads and adding capacity is worth temporary closures and delays if it leads to safer roads, reduced congestion, and stronger infrastructure long-term.
