Our advanced practice providers (APPs) of the southern region got together yesterday evening to learn a little bit more about sacroiliac joint fusion. This is one of the treatment options we have for sacroiliitis when conservative management is no longer effective. I love learning from each other’s experiences and having the opportunity to get together after a busy week. .c.moore3

Last night, we had our quarterly APP dinner meeting. It’s a rare occasion we are all together in one room and it was so inspiring! I’m grateful to work with a dedicated team of professionals who provide the best patient care and keep the physicians in line 😜

A meta-analysis found that cervical traction does significantly reduce neck pain. This can be a helpful adjunctive treatment for those with arthritis or looking at a computer all day (🙋🏻‍♀️) by gently stretching the vertebrae and muscles to relieve pressure and pain in the neck. Clingy dogs approve.

I’m so proud of my APP team! We had a rare chance to slow down and catch up over dinner with some education and lots of laughs too. I’ve found that I learn so much more collaborating with my peers and it’s much more fun too!
