This is a community hotline that has been established as a "deportation crisis line" for the greater Austin area. Please keep it close to your desk, and share the # with co-workers, friends and family. This hotline intends to serve 2 important purposes:
1. To receive reports of ICE activity in the Austin area
2. To provide support to the friends and families of those detained.
Please share the # widely. If you hear from members or others that ICE is conducting an operation somewhere, please tell them to hang up and call this # immediately. If you hear from the relative/friend of someone who was picked up and they need help, refer them to this number.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS Training on Friday!

Because we all should know our rights, Julia Kranzthor of the Worker’s Defense Project (Address: 5604 Manor Rd, Austin, TX 78723 Phone: (512) 391-2305) is hosting a KNOW YOUR RIGHTS training this Friday at 12pm at WDP. All are welcome, and attendance is voluntary. Feel free to bring your lunch.
