As a female athlete, I was raised around words that implied that being “thin” meant you were the best athlete, but also received many comments about my size (from people who don’t know the difference between carbs and protein) — too small, too skinny, probably only eats salads, etc.

I live in a reality where I know I’m naturally petite and gain fitness quickly, I know what my body looks like when I’m at my best, and I know when I need to shift.

Right now, my arms require strength because carrying my groceries up in one trip isn’t cutting it! So cheers to killing the intrusive thoughts and getting deep into the root of what will make me a better version of me:)

Getting back into it tomorrow, zero idea of which marathon could be next (I admire those who always know what’s next), but I do have an awesome 10k in mind 🤘

My body feels too rested (if that’s even possible). If wild how we become accustomed to a certain lifestyle. I’ve caught myself jogging to the trash can, bathroom, or any chance I can lol

It’s time to pick it back up!

Let’s keep being gutsy— amazing times are here :)

Ps. Shoutout to Chip III for being my emotional support water bottle ❤️

Extremely happy either way this physical and mental breakdown.
