Collier Talent Agency is devastated by the loss of one of our own, Bill Wise. Bill is a true Austin icon, a one-of-a-kind artist who made Austin weird and tried to keep it that way. Bill’s mind moved at lightning speed. He was a fearless performer and an absolute comic genius. His heart was enormous. He loved connecting people in the community. The list of his collaborators is long and illustrious. He was always creating, always making art. He loved bragging about his sons, whom he loved deeply. His dog Herbert was his constant companion, whom he adored. He was a proud Irishman, and in the true Irish tradition, he made us laugh & broke our hearts.

Bill, you were surrounded by people, fans & collaborator alike, who loved you & marveled at your talent.

We hope you felt the love. We will miss you so very much.

We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Collier Talent client Jonas Ellwanger.

Jonas was a bright light with an infectious enthusiasm. He first came to Collier Talent as a gifted athlete who had recently discovered a love for theater—a passion he shared with his sister, also a talented performer and client. It quickly became clear that Jonas had found two callings: swimming and acting.

He went on to attend Sarah Lawrence College, where he pursued a degree in theater while competing on the men’s swim team. He had just completed his freshman year and was set to be named Co-Captain for the upcoming season.

In his first year at school, Jonas made an immediate impact—landing lead roles in student films, giving a standout performance in a spring play, and beautifully directing his own project for a cinematography class, while actively auditioning for professional projects—just beginning what we believed would be a promising career.

A survivor of AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation), Jonas approached life with remarkable courage, kindness, and determination. His talent, heart, and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Jonas’s family, friends, and all who loved him.

He will be deeply missed—and always remembered.
