Shots of the Full Mechanics Mailes Kenbu from different angles.
This kit was modified with parts from the HG Brady Fox and the 1/48 AT-ST from Star Wars. The pile bunker, micro missiles at the back, and the smoke launchers were from various add-on kits.
Please enjoy all the work I've put in to kitbash them to make the kit the battlefield beast that it is now. 😆
P.S. I removed the spikey anime hair of the pilot figure. 😜

Here is the FM Mailes Kenbu custom on top of the rubble base I made. This diorama was my entry for 's Redacted III contest which I named "End of Battle".
I don't usually post photos in landscape anymore but I really like the vibe for this shot. The orange background, the mech kneeling down and the pilot on the thigh like he just got off the cockpit I think captures what I was going.
Editing is taking a while but I am working on more shots from different angles with some close ups too. Watch out for those.
Before and after look of my FM Mailes Kenbu Ryōken custom.
FM Mailes Kenbu Ryōken. I was lukewarm to the base kit but I found a good challenge in enhancing its silhouette and making it more attractive, at least to me.
The Ryōken name is fitting because the lower legs look like the hind legs of a dog to me. I wanted it to feel more formidable so I added some thick armor plating to add heft.
I took inspiration from an Armored Core concept art for weathering to make this kit grittier. This inspiration also makes the name more appropriate.
Did I get the vibe right?

Made a base for the FM Mailes Kenbu build which I think looks decent. So I thought I should share the process of how I made it from start to finish.
1. Got a piece of wooden plaque and XPS foam and laid out the general position of the foam.
2. Textured the foam with a wire brush and removed some of the side as well the edge to be flush with the base. Put it on another foam to give it a small incline.
3. Glue the off cuts I had as well as some old plaster rocks I had.
4. Covered the base with Sculptamold and stuck on more pieces of plaster rocks, broken corkboard chunks, cut I-beams and some truss frame while the mixture was still wet.
5. Added some small ballast and sand around the base. Also more small pieces of plaster rocks on top.
6. Primed everything in black.
7. Airbrushed the truss frame and hand painted deck tan on the concrete pieces.
8. Added chipping to the truss frame, painted the I-beams with rust colors, put some color on the dirt and used Mr Weathering Color Ground Brown, Sandy wash and White Dust to tie everything together. Also airbrush some scorched effects.
Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to do any part better. I don't do a lot of intricate base building so I still have a lot to learn. I appreciate and welcome any criticism.

My color guide for the RG Wing Gundam Zero if anyone is interested.
P.S. For got to add Neutral Gray II used to give variance to the white.
I employed a subtle modulation to help with the shadow. If you can hardly tell, I think that is a success.
It is easily seen on the whites of the wings and the reds on the shield but my favorite has got to be the subtle shadows on the skirt and the legs. If you looks closely, maybe you can tell.

Finished the photos of the RG Wing Gundam Zero custom I shall name Gundam Cypher.
Also, pardon me for trying to pull off the Heero pose. 😅

RG Wing Gundam Zero. I had to go back and repaint a few pieces so here are some parts that are done. The shield, the buster rifle, a wing and an arm. I hope you all like the custom colors on this. It's a lot less bright than the OG scheme.
