2 Salsa Workshops in one day, 2 different cities with different age groups. All the same passion for dance and love for the music. We started the day with Sofrito y Su Melao at Covington Middle School in South Austin. Teaching these kids Salsa dancing with Live Music in an Auditorium for the class is a whole different experience. It was like a Jam session going back and forth with Ian Fry and Sofrito's different tempos. That non stop hour felt like a personal concert for all of us. What better way to teach a class than with Live Music!
Later, Being invited to The Kissing Tree Community in San Marcos by Swing Junction - Let's Dance was so much fun. A whole different spectrum as this 55+ age community gathered for their Salsa Workshop with us to prepare for their Cinco de Mayo Celebration with Live music from Los Gatos 512 . Their jokes and laughter while learning to dance Salsa for over 2 hours really made our day. Thanks to Carlos Trevino Aria Aguilar and Jennifer Rodgers from Top Shelf Latin Entertainment LLC for being a part of this and can't wait to hear how their celebration goes today. I am so appreciative for all of the support and collaboration. "Reaching Communities Through Salsa"!

Mavericks North and South tonight under one roof!!! Thank you for hosting a great night Irakli Chachua Brett Roos and Bahar Çanga Keep up the great work up there!!!! I had a great time tonight and somehow ended up like a reunion. It's not always we get to come up north but when we do it's always a great time. Thank you for all the dances and photo opportunities.
