Austin is quickly becoming one of the biggest testing grounds for self-driving cars in America.
According to newly released Texas records:
🚘 Waymo: 577 autonomous vehicles
🚘 Avride: 317 autonomous vehicles
🚘 Nuro: 47 autonomous vehicles
🚘 Tesla: 42 autonomous vehicles
While Tesla’s Robotaxi launch has grabbed headlines, Waymo currently operates a significantly larger autonomous fleet in Texas.
What makes this important?
