🚲 Help a Child Ride a Bike!

We're looking for volunteers to serve as Bike Camp Spotters at Variety Texas's and iCanShine's Adaptive Bike Camp this July.

As a spotter, you'll walk or jog alongside one rider, offering encouragement, support, and safety as they work toward riding independently.

📍 St. Francis School, Austin
📅 July 13–17, 2026

Volunteer requirements:
✔ Age 14+ by July 13
✔ Attend all 5 camp days
✔ Commit to the same daily shift
✔ Complete a 75-minute training (virtual or in person)

Shifts available:
🕙 9:50–11:20 AM
🕦 11:25 AM–12:55 PM
🕜 1:45–3:15 PM

No cycling experience required.

We’re recruiting volunteers for our 2026 Adaptive Bike Camp in Austin! Volunteers support children with disabilities as they build confidence, independence, and riding skills throughout the week.

No biking experience is needed — just patience, encouragement, and willingness to walk or jog alongside riders as they learn.

⏰ Volunteers commit to one 1.5-hour shift per day for five days.
