QUESTION: What is the definition of ADAS? ANSWER: Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems. They are technologies that assist drivers with the safe operation of a vehicle. One such system involves a forward-facing camera attached to the inside of the windshield. Depending on the manufacturer, it is usually referred to as a Lane Departure Warning System, or Lane Keep Assist, or Forward Collision Alert ...etc... - Because manufacturers require these cameras to be re-calibrated to the original settings after a windshield replacement, Austin Windshield Plus invested in the AUTEL MA600 recalibration system in 2022.
