This full-time seasonal position (September 2026–May 2027) combines database work, customer service, and outdoor work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Good news, Texas! Applications are now open for the inaugural TreeFolks Nursery of Nurseries Pilot Program!

Do you love growing plants and want to help reforest Central Texas? We're looking for motivated growers, gardeners, conservation practitioners, and aspiring nursery owners to join a new hands-on training and mentorship program focused on growing native Texas trees from seed.

Participants will learn the complete seed-to-sapling production process, establish their own small nursery, and become part of a growing network of independent native tree growers helping increase the availability of restoration-quality native trees across the region.

Whether your goal is to support restoration projects, start a small nursery business, or simply deepen your propagation skills, this program will provide the knowledge, mentorship, and practical experience to get you started.

"This tree is special to my friends and I because we have shared and planned many special moments of our lives together under its shade. It is beautiful, has a glorious trunk, keeps us cool in the summer, houses many birds, and was home to a small green worm that greeted us as we sipped coffee this spring. Wormy swung down from his tree on his silky string and kept us company as we read poetry to him. Then he was promptly eaten by a blue bird mid-air. We gasped. His sudden departure was surprising, but a prompt reminder of the circle of life. We still laugh about that day while enjoying the shade of the tree and toasting to his memory. RIP green wormy."
