TWENTY-SIXTEEN🥲
-The year that started in the same place that 2026 has ironically…freezing in Minnesota!
-The year that I really took my fitness & athletic career very seriously
-The year that I started cosmetology school & for the first time in my life knew that this was exactly what I was going to make out of my life (if only that little Natalie could see what MAGIC she created with those hands 💭 🥹)
-The year I really became a CrossFit athlete & participated in many, many competitions
-The year I completed countless roller sets & perms in school (I had all the little old ladies lining up for my wet sets🤣)
-The year I became an Olympic Weightlifter
-The year my sister & I ran our own athletic accessory line (the way this ig page is still up & so cringe but also I’m so proud of us haha we really did that)
-The year of the beeessttt filters & shameless selfies
-The year I did my first balayage (yikes but also go Cosmo student me)
-The year did my hair for the first time & I got my first salon job
-The year I qualified to University Nationals for Olympic weightlifting
-The year I did countless photoshoots across Los Angeles
-The year I fully discovered my artistic capabilities & let them soar
-The year my obsession with color and diving into huge transformations began (this is still in Cosmo school 👏🏽)
-The year I met one of my best friends (full circle moment 🫶🏽)
-The year I officially graduated and became a licensed cosmetologist

** Little 2016 me was doing the absolute most and if only she knew what WONDERS this hard work and big dreams she’d accomplish ahead!! I see this girl and I get so emotional…I would tell her to soak in and savor the freedom of being young and free, be unapologetic for standing out and being different, to enjoy the simplicity of what life in the day to day was (compared to now) and to not be afraid of letting go of the things/people that were holding her back.

Life has a funny way of working itself out and I realize I would never change a thing of my past. It’s refreshing to see and relive a small glimpse of where I came from. I’m my own motivation!
