To all my Facebook friends, I rarely do this, but, I have a friend in need. Casey McPherson is a great musician who has started a foundation for his daughter, Rose.

Rose is battling a rare disease and unfortunately, kids with rare diseases are forgotten and left to chance due to the lack of market demand for a cure. In other words, there’s not a lot of money to be made by curing rare diseases.

I know most of you have children. Can you image be being in Casey’s situation? It’s heart breaking but, here is what I know, Rose and Casey and both fighters.

Due to the Go Fund Me efforts, the team of doctors and scientist have made progress towards a cure but we still have a ways to go.
