Vamanos. Time flies when you are playing with your friends. Hard to believe this was a month ago. Me, Alan and Gordie have a good thing going and some fresh new original recordings to share with the world, but we’re touring all over the world all summer in different bands. I cherish making original Music with these guys, and will look forward to more in September back in Austin.

It’s so hard to leave the greatest place on earth after jazz fest. I came in hot from Austin on Wednesday for a special screening on the documentary at the Toulouse. Way to go It was so great to see and meet Feats on their farewell tour in Austin and New Orleans. What an incredible legacy. Then five nights and four fest days. Music overload. with orchestra, and on and on. I thought my cup was full, and then as I was about to drive back to Canada on Monday, hipped me to this and it was definitely my fest highlight of 2026. and friends have been doing this at Bywater Bakery for ten years. What a magical finale. Featuring and more. Thank you New Orleans. Every time.
