This week, DCS staff and families packed 200 care bags for the "Stuff the Bag" event. The bags included hats, scarves, gloves, and toiletry kits. Children added handmade cards featuring their artwork. 100 bags were donated to the Vine Maple Place and the remaining 100 bags went to the Maple Valley Food Bank.

On the 24th anniversary of 9/11, DCS remembers the lives lost and acknowledges the deep and lasting impact on all those affected by the tragic and horrific acts of terrorism in 2001. We also honor the courage of every hero who emerged in the aftermath, bringing strength and hope to the communities and families that were forever changed.
