Quiet Cricket Studio

Another year down! It was such a good East Austin Studio Tour this year, and it was great seeing everyone who came to visit 🤗 As promised, Rhodes and his crew at .studio cranked out a lot of new furniture this year, so we were able to leave (most of) the furniture at our house in place! All of the pieces will be listed on the website for sale in a fancy new online store that I’m building this week.

It was great getting to set up with the talented ✨ Her beautiful paintings go so well with our furniture, and my favorite earrings come from her. We also got to meet who makes the most incredible pottery! This little bud vase is now on our coffee hutch and I’m stoked to have such a beautiful little moment to enjoy every morning.

We’re doing something new! My partner Rhodes is a talented woodworker, and he makes both furniture and custom built in pieces. We’ve talked for a while about how those work together, and we’ve decided it’s time to separate them. He’s making furniture over at .hinman and custom built-ins at . I’m managing the mill work page, so come say hi if you’re interested in interior design or fancy woodworking ✨

This first project was designed by .whitworth and is absolutely gorgeous! The rest were Rhodes’ designs. He’s so good at details that make the pieces really high quality.
