Year Zero

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Sacred Cow Productions! 🎉 Long before the internet, Austin Access TV was a dream come true, bringing Bill Hicks, Ninja Bachelor Party, Year Zero, and more into over 250,000 homes via Time Warner Cable.

Fast forward a few years, and I got a call from a guy saying he was starting an online video library where people could contribute their videos. He called it YouTube. Of course, I told him it would never work. I'm not going to go so far as to say it was a big success, but I hear it’s able to simultaneously connect to thousands of tiny TV sets. Wow, the future! 😂

In honor of the 40th anniversary of buying a portable video camera that cost as much as a car in 1984, I’m excited to announce the launch of the Sacred Cow YouTube channel! 📹🐄
