🎓⚡️ Over the last 24 hours, our Redeemer community has experienced the kind of moments that are hard to fully put into words.

Through every moment, one thing was abundantly clear: these students are deeply loved.

Last night’s 8th Grade Graduation was beautiful, emotional, and memorable in every way. Even with storms rolling through and unexpected power outages, the evening carried on with grace, flexibility, and so much heart.

There were dressed-up students trying to hold back tears, emotional parents and grandparents reflecting on how quickly the years have passed, heartfelt family video tributes honoring the “babies” now headed to high school, meaningful speeches from our valedictorian and salutatorian, honor roll recognition, hugs, laughter, prayers, and a joyful reception celebrating students who have truly led well during their time at Redeemer.

And then this morning came the final walk.

Our 8th graders made their “elephant walk” through campus one last time — hallways lined with younger students, teachers, hugs, cheers, tears, songs, prayers, and so many emotions wrapped into one sacred goodbye. Chapel included a meaningful student podcast skit, the passing of the leadership torch to 7th grade, and a special blessing spoken over the graduating class as they prepare for what’s next.

We are grateful for the families, teachers, staff, pastors, coaches, and friends who have poured faith, wisdom, encouragement, accountability, and care into this class over many years. And we are incredibly proud of the young people they are becoming.

Congratulations, Redeemer Graduates! 💙🧡

One more day, Redeemer. Let’s finish strong. 💙🧡

As we head into the very last day of school tomorrow, energy levels are HIGH, emotions are everywhere, and somehow the students are still showing up ready to learn, laugh, compete, and make memories together.

In World Cultures elective, students explored MAS wrestling — a traditional sport that challenges strength, strategy, focus, and teamwork. And honestly? It may also be excellent preparation for getting everyone out the door this last week of school. 😅

Today was the annual Teachers v 8th Grade Games! Staff and students faced off in Volleyball, Dodgeball, Basketball, and even Family Feud with the survey results taken from 7th and 6th graders!

Last week’s 4/5th Field Day brought out everything: speed, endurance, teamwork, encouragement from the sidelines, and more than a few superhero moments mid-air over the hurdles. 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

From relays, hurdles, long jump, beam jump, softball throw, tug-of-war, Knock Out basketball, and a jump rope endurance battle that seemed to last forever… there truly was something for everyone. And that’s part of what makes Field Day at Redeemer so special.

Coach Redmond once again did an incredible job creating events where every student could find a place to shine. 💪

Sunshine, blue skies, big energy, and one of those days our 4th & 5th graders will probably remember for a very long time. ☀️💙🧡 And for our 5th graders and Parents, there was also a quiet layer underneath all the excitement — soaking up one of their final elementary school traditions together.

Congratulations to our team winners:
🥇 Orange
🥈 Blue
🥉 Green
🏅 Red

More than medals or ribbons, Field Day reminded us what school community looks like: courage, encouragement, laughter, perseverance, and friends cheering each other across the finish line.
