One meaningful way to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families is by becoming a certified babysitter. Safe, trusted care gives families space to rest, attend appointments, recharge, and continue showing up for the children in their care.

Join us for our upcoming Babysitting Training and become equipped to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families across Central Texas.

Whether you’re newly navigating life after placement or have been on this journey for years, this is a space to connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges that come after adoption or kinship care.

Burgers are on us for you and your children, so bring the whole family, come as you are, and enjoy an easy evening of conversation, play, and meaningful connection.

Marble Falls families, our Foster, Adopt, and Kinship Family Meet-Up is TONIGHT 🤍

Join us from 6:00–7:30 PM at the playground at First United Methodist Church for an evening of connection, encouragement, and community with other foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

Dinner is provided, kids are welcome, and the playground will be open for little ones to play while caregivers connect with others who understand. Link in bio to sign up!

May is Foster Care Awareness Month💙

Throughout this month, members of our team will be sharing perspectives shaped by lived experience through foster care and adoption.

We asked each person two questions:

-What is one thing you wish more people understood about foster care?
-What does support for foster families actually look like?

Their answers reflect something we believe deeply at Fostering Hope: foster, adoptive, and kinship families were never meant to do this alone.

Support can look like encouragement, meals, childcare, mentorship, consistency, community, and simply continuing to show up long after placement day.

This one day event is designed to equip churches and individuals to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families through practical training, connection, and meaningful next steps.

Whether you want to foster, volunteer, babysit, mentor, or support families through your church, this event will help you learn more about the needs in your community and ways you can make a difference. Free childcare will be available!
