What separates an experienced beekeeper from an inexperienced newbie? It often has nothing to do with number of years one has kept bees, nor the books read, or classes attended.
In many instances, it can be as simple as asking "why?" or "should I?", and then seeking out a sound, rational, science-based and api-centric answer to that question. The more often you find yourself following that question/answer approach, the more experienced you are as a beekeeper.
