Located in the heart of the Edwards Limestone, this master plan development takes an extra level of effort to carve into the surrounding environment. A notoriously hard and challenging formation to work in, every inch of underground utilities required rock trenching and a high degree of effort from the Cast team to deliver on time and in budget.

Project Details

With more than 9,000 people driving on Weiss Lane every day, and the addition of a new High School campus, this expansion was an investment in safety and solved a much needed capacity issue for the community. Cast was selected to complete this three mile reconstruction, which included road widening from two lanes to four lanes with center turn lanes, curb, sidewalks, intersection signalization, water upgrades and drainage facilities. Additionally, this project included the replacement of two bridges.
