The first pair of hockey skates. 🤩

Long before the goals, the tournaments, and the early morning practices, there’s this moment- the excitement of sitting down, getting fitted, and lacing up a brand-new pair of skates for the very first time.

At Chaparral Ice, we love being part of these milestones. Whether you’re taking your first steps onto the ice or gearing up for another season, the Chap Shop is here to help with all your hockey needs, big or small.

Because every hockey journey starts somewhere, and we’re honored to be part of yours.

Stop by the Chap Shop and let us help create your next hockey memory.

We will keep everyone updated on reopening information as soon as we have more details. Thank you for your continued support!

Early risers, this one’s for you!

We’re kicking off a NEW Adult Thursday Morning Drop-In and can’t think of a better way to start the day than getting some ice time in before work.

Start Date: Thursday, March 12
Ice Time: 6:15 – 7:30 AM
Doors Open: 5:50 AM
Locker Rooms: A & B

We’ll run this for four weeks on Thursday mornings to start. If turnout is strong, we’ll look at continuing through the summer and possibly adding a Tuesday morning skate as well.

We’re also testing a new goalie registration option so players can easily see if goalies have already signed up. Drop-in will be limited to 20 players and 2 goalies, making it easy to check registration and know if the nets are covered.

Spots will fill fast, please register online in advance to secure your spot! See you bright and early on the ice!

Yesterday we had over 50 participants show up at our Try Hockey for Free event. Thanks to all our amazing volunteers on and off the ice, so many new friends were introduced to the best sport on the planet!

The smiles on the parents’ and kids’ faces were absolutely priceless. This is exactly how you grow the sport, by showing up and sharing it with others.

Thank you, Austin!
