We have been stanning Surrounded for several years now. It's a magical show set in the round, and always at Velveeta Room which creates the perfect intimate space for staring at a comic's butt. Wait, what?? As Beth Stelling accurately declared, the show is great partly because half the crowd can stare at a comic's backside, while the other half of the "theater in the round" audience gets to watch a comic interact with the audience and riff off the dome. Night 2 of Surrounded featured the high energy of "Comedy Store Door Guy" Miranda Meadows, followed by creator of Surrounded, Mike Falzone who demonstrates how the show works. There's nothing better than teaching by showing, right? On this night, we got to watch the dynamic duo I didn't know I needed Katherine Blanford and Abby Ryan take to the floor, followed by Jesus Sepulveda, Mike Feeney, Beth Stelling, and Ian Fidance.

We feel super lucky we got to see the legendary Yakov Smirnoff during The Internationals and felt like we took a trip around the world with Canada's Ivan Decker and Italy's Francesco De Carlo.  Watching international comics perform right here on our Austin stages is a special treat and you'll have another chance to see The Internationals showcase on Saturday night.  A trip around the world and you can still sleep in your own bed at the end of the night! How lucky are we??
