Our recent "Machu Picchu & Abra Malaga, Peru" tour wrapped up in early July. Here are a handful of images taken during the tour.

If tropical birds and a touch of comfort are your thing, you’ll want to put Trinidad & Tobago on your radar.. “T&T” is a perfect intro to Neotropical birding, with toucans, manakins, antbirds, cotingas, and more. You’ll witness the fabulous and flashy display of a White-bearded Manakin, hear the wild and haunting call of a Bearded Bellbird, and even visit the eerie cave of the fruit-eating Oilbirds. We even have a small shot at Trinidad Piping-Guan. The birding is exciting and truly unforgettable.

Our next tour (Dec 1–10) is based mostly at the legendary—and newly refreshed—Asa Wright Nature Centre, where the birding from the veranda is just as exciting as the myriad of trails. We’ll also explore Caroni Swamp at dusk as Scarlet Ibis stream in to roost—glowing impressively red against a mangrove backdrop—and hop over to Tobago for specialties like White-tailed Sabrewing, nesting Red-billed Tropicbirds, and Blue-backed Manakin.

It’s a relaxed, bird-rich escape with plenty of charm. Details in the comments!
