❤️ Why might my surgeon request cardiac clearance before surgery? ❤️

Cardiac clearance is a common and important part of surgical planning for some patients. It allows us to confirm that your heart can safely tolerate anesthesia and surgery. 💚

You may be asked to obtain cardiac clearance if you:
✔ Have a known heart condition (such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, or heart failure)
✔ Have had prior cardiac surgery or procedures
✔ Take blood thinners or medications that increase bleeding risk
✔ Have certain medical risk factors based on age or health history
