speak life to the artists

This past week, for some reason, every single day someone reached out to me to tell me that they were enjoying something I had created. Songs, recordings, essays.

It’s the most encouraged I’ve felt about my work in a long time. I’ve no desire to be famous or any expectation of having a huge following. I just want to make things that mean something.

It’s hard and holy work, bringing beauty into the world. The practicalities and pressures of life make it challenging enough to keep creating. Now we’ve all got AI breathing down our necks. Being real is more important than ever.

So for those of you who reached out, thank you. It means more than you know.

If you benefit from something that someone has created, tell them. I guarantee they need to hear it. And we will all be blessed if they keep creating.
