Last weekend I took the kids to of for Second Saturdays. The kids got to make robots and I was able to check out HOST: Laura Lit, the first solo museum exhibition and debut outdoor installation by the Austin-based artist.

I love how the sculptures felt like alien organisms that were dropped into the grounds. Ezra saw “Big Drip” and immediately said it looked like a snail.

I love going to Laguna Gloria with the kids, though in summer months it gets hot really quickly. A stroller is a must, but the paved pathways are limited, so definitely plan ahead if you’re bringing a smaller kid.
