We'll gather near the tennis courts, located at the corner of East Side Dr. and Sunset Lane. From there, we’ll follow the trail that winds alongside Blunn Creek—a scenic path featuring both paved sections and crushed granite.

This well-maintained park offers more than just a pleasant walk:
Birdwatching opportunities
Creekside views and aquatic wildlife
Majestic heritage oaks
Access to a community pool

Come enjoy the natural beauty and quiet charm of this East Austin gem. Don’t forget your water bottle, walking shoes, and curiosity!

Tomorrow: Hike with us at Mueller Butterfly Gardens. This less traveled park of Mueller Greenspace has shaded areas to admire the flowers, birds, and butterflies. We will take a walk around the ponds and check out the giant spider sculpture, but people can also just stay in the gardens. Street parking is easily available and in close proximity to the garden and trail.

Bonus: Batch - Craft Beer and Kolaches and other great coffee/ food options are nearby for before or after the hike refreshments!
