Iona Collaborative

Learning doesn't end when a course does.
At the Iona Collaborative, participants take what they've discovered and carry it back into their congregations, ministries, and communities—where transformation continues to unfold.
"The particular focus on one ministry allowed the tools introduced in class to be used and improved communication and relationship building."
"I will do an asset study before our bishop search visitations so we can better understand our congregation's strengths and needs."
"I will be a better facilitator of the Alzheimer's/Dementia Caregivers Group I lead."
"These exercises stretched my scriptural knowledge, made me want to study Paul, and helped me use scripture in new ways."
Small steps. Practical tools. Faithful leaders serving their communities in meaningful ways.
That's the kind of transformation we're grateful to witness every day.
Behind every course is an instructor who brings wisdom, experience, and a heart for formation. Beginning next week, we're excited to introduce you to the people who help make these learning experiences possible.

Summer has a way of teaching us Sabbath.
As June gives way to July, the changing season invites us into a different rhythm.
Perhaps it's the afternoon heat that reminds us to slow down. Perhaps it's vacation, quieter calendars, or simply stepping away from our usual routines. These moments aren't interruptions —they can become sacred invitations.
When we make space to pause, we begin to notice what God has been saying all along.
Our self-paced Keeping Sabbath course, led by Joyce Palevitz, invites you to explore the gift of rest as a spiritual practice. Whether you journey through the course on your own or gather a small group of friends, it's an opportunity to rediscover Sabbath as a way of listening, receiving, and renewing.
This summer, what if slowing down isn't falling behind—but making room for God?
