Another conference, another reason to celebrate! 🎉

Huge congratulations to our graduate student, Xiaoqiao, for presenting her research at the FITNG Conference! 🧠✨

Her work examined the neural correlates of encoding and retrieval during a memory generalization task. We’re so proud to see her sharing our lab’s research with the international developmental neuroscience community.

Way to go, Xiaoqiao! Your hard work, curiosity, and dedication continue to make the ChiLDS Lab proud. 💛🤘

Xiaoqiao, one of our lovely grad students, had a very busy first year ✅ Presenting her results at Cognitive Develipment Society (CDS), Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS) and at Texas Linguistics Society ( TLS) during Spring term. We’re excited to see what’s ahead for this early scholar!! 📚👏

We are so proud of our amazing undergraduate research assistants who presented research from our lab at the undergraduate research forum!! 📊🧠

Leah, Liliana, and Caroline each presented preliminary results from our word learning study. Emily and Vanessa presented about our pilot study with babies, including the difficulty in collecting data with our very young participants.

Thank you all for sharing all the hard work you put into child development research this academic year!
