Ballet Afrique Contemporary Dance

Please Join Us Tonight, As we support Author and long time Ballet Afrique Parent . Karen’s book, The Swans of Harlem celebrates the grand tradition of Black ballerinas who precede and surround our young dancers, focusing on five lifelong friends who helped build the legendary Dance Theatre of Harlem. There will also be conversations with local author and stellar human Kelis Rowe (Finding Jupiter) at 7pm.

Ballet Afrique dancers, alumni and supporters we would love to see you in the audience! A portion of the evening’s book sales will be donated to Ballet Afrique.
